1. A box is sealed
Each box holds 5 states and stays sealed for 15 minutes. A state is a coin idea: anyone can put one into an empty state with a name, a ticker, an image and a short description. It costs 0.05 SOL, and you get that back if your idea is the one observed.
2. You pre-buy the states you like
Send SOL into any state from your wallet (Phantom, Solflare or Backpack). The more SOL a state holds, the more likely it is to come out. A box holds at most 20 SOL, and each wallet can put in up to 2 SOL per box (the minimum is 0.01 SOL). You can back several states.
All SOL goes to an escrow wallet that is used for boxes and nothing else. Every deposit is shown on the box page with its Solscan link.
3. Observation: the box opens
When the timer hits zero, the box goes to a real quantum computer: IQM Garnet, a 20-qubit superconducting computer reached through Amazon Braket; if it cannot, IQM Emerald (54 qubits), then IBM Quantum. Each state gets one qubit. The circuit puts the qubits in a superposition where each state's amplitude is the square root of its share of the pool, so measuring it picks a state with probability equal to its share. A state with 30% of the SOL has a 30% chance.
The coin that comes out is the first measured shot that reads exactly one state holding SOL. Real hardware is noisy, so a few shots come out as nonsense and are skipped. If a machine does not answer within two minutes, the next one is tried. If none of them answers, the box is opened by a simulation of the same circuit running inside QuantumPad, and the box page says SIMULATED in plain sight. If only one state has SOL, there is nothing to pick and it simply launches.
Every box has a lab notebook: the provider, the machine, the job ID, the exact circuit, the weights, every raw measurement and the coin that came out.
4. The observed coin launches on pump.fun
The observed idea is created on pump.fun by the QuantumPad platform wallet. The whole pool, every state, is used as the coin's first buy. Creating the coin and that first buy go out together as one Jito bundle: they land in the same instant or not at all, so nobody can buy before the pre-buyers.
5. Everyone gets their tokens
Every pre-buyer is airdropped their share of the tokens, in proportion to the SOL they put in, whichever state they backed. One holder account (about 0.0015 SOL of rent) is taken from each wallet's deposit so the tokens can reach it. Tokens are sent at once.
Nobody loses money because their state did not come out. All the SOL goes into the observed coin at the same price, and every pre-buyer holds it. What the coin does after that is up to the market.
6. The next box is sealed right away
The moment one box is observed, the next one is sealed.
When do I get a refund?
Automatically, in full, every lamport:
- if the launch fails or does not land within 10 minutes,
- if a box is opened with no buys in it (idea fees come back too),
- if your deposit lands after observation began, or after the pool or your wallet limit filled up,
- if an idea you backed is removed.
Every refund is on the box page with its Solscan link.
Where do the creator fees go?
Every coin's pump.fun creator fees are split on chain when it launches: 20% to the wallet that submitted the idea, paid automatically, and the rest to the platform wallet, which uses it to buy back $QPAD and burn it. The burned total is on the home page.
Is this safe?
Your SOL sits in a dedicated escrow until the box opens, and the server only ever reads payments from the chain itself. There is an admin pause switch that stops new boxes and deposits. Memecoins are risky: a coin can lose most of its value after launch. Only put in what you can lose.
